A Fallout-inspired Fusion Core prop finished with layered painting and weathering to turn a printed model into a worn piece of game-world hardware.
The Project
Bringing a piece of Fallout into the real world.
This Fusion Core started as a 3D-printed prop and was finished through painting, washes, weathering, and detail work to give it the worn industrial look of something pulled straight out of the Fallout universe.
The focus of the build was less on fabrication and more on the finishing process: taking a clean printed object and making it feel used, aged, and believable.
